J + P love foliage, not so much flowers, just foliage.
They wanted a nod to the early Autumn season and envisaged the barn at the beautiful Llantilio House to be transformed into an abundant but cosy space.
We created a wild backdrop to frame the windows and doors that they were married in front of in the barn. We included fresh and dried grasses to reflect the changing seasons as well as anemones and wild roses. The backdrop was then rearranged to create a wall of greenery behind the top table, with the branches framed against the stone walls in the evening light. We also designed a large foliage cloud to hang in the centre of the barn and a climbing foliage design to decorate the balustrade for the ceremony and the reception.
The banquet tables were decorated with flower and foliage meadows as well as tall glass vases of foliage, to add simple drama. As the evening arrived and the night drew in, candles were lit along the tables. The glow of the candles provided warm lighting and glinting reflection in the vases and glassware on the tables.
